Linking Ocean Microbiomes and Ecosystem Functions

A range of new techniques have allowed for unprecedented insight into the biodiversity and functioning of marine microbiomes. These approaches are revealing the complex linkages between genotype evolution, gene expression, microbiome interactions, and large-scale biogeochemical cycles.

A Scientific Session (SS063) at the ASLO Aquatic Sciences meeting 4-9 June 2023 chaired by Adam Martiny, University of California, Irvine (amartiny@uci.edu) and Luke Thompson, NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (luke.thompson@noaa.gov)
